The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now an open-world action-adventure video game developed and released by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U console. Breath of the Wild is a prequel to the much loved The Legend of Zelda series and follows the characters Link, Tetra, and Gannon as they escape the castle of Hyrule to find a mythical mountain kingdom known as Hyrule. Breath of the Wild is set thousands of years before the events of the original The Legend of Zelda game. In this game, Link, now a grown man, lives with his adopted family in the quiet town of Hylia.
Link’s quest involves finding the lost Princess Zelda and her current boyfriend, Link’s friend, Ganon. Ganon, who wishes to absorb the power of the legendary goddess Zelda, has taken over the Gorilla City, which is also Zelda’s old home. With the help of a magic lamp, Link sets out on a quest to find the young Princess Zelda and bring her back to his home town. Link has a friend called Midna who also assists him in his quest. He even has a fairy who appears in his side but there are some mysterious powers that might be linking them.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild utilizes the revolutionary Wii platform. The open world design of this game allows players to travel around the great Hyrule in an attempt to find the missing princess. The game’s protagonist, Link, has the capability to climb virtually any surface in the game. There are a variety of challenges that players will face as they advance through the game. The game incorporates the open world design with powerful graphics and top notch audio that make The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild seem like a completely new game.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was chosen as the winner of the Game Developers Choice Awards for Best Role-Playing Game and Best Original Score. The reason why the game was chosen as thewinner of these two awards is due to the open world that is featured in the game. Players can roam about freely as Link to find the lost Princess Zelda and search for Ganon who has risen from his imprisonment inside the dungeons. The game also features a powerful boss battle which requires a great deal of strategy and trial and error to beat. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild takes the idea that Zelda games are about searching for the mythical artifacts known as the Links and using them to open doors to other realms.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild continues the tradition started by the classic The Legend of Zelda games wherein Link must save the kingdom of Hyrule. This time around, Link’s journey will also take him through the wild west, the mysterious tower, and into the dark underground cave systems where he must face all kinds of obstacles and enemies to reach the final destination. Although The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has many familiar elements that have been seen in previous Zelda games, it also has its own unique story. The game will also introduce the new element of Breath of the Wild’s physics engine which makes the game much more interesting and challenging.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is currently in development at Nintendo and is not scheduled to be ready for a Nintendo Switch release. A release date has yet to be confirmed. A release date will most likely be announced during the E3 game show in June. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will feature both classic side quests and brand new areas and characters that were only seen in previous Zelda games.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is being developed by a new team consisting of more than a dozen members from the Zelda team. This includes game designer Tadayoshi Yamamori, who previously handled the game elements of The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. The development team is composed of several long time Zelda fans who are now working on the highly anticipated follow-up to the successful The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. This means that the game should be as close to the quality of Twilight Princess as possible, providing fans with an amazing chance to revisit and enjoy all the great adventure that is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be published by Nintendo and will be available for the Nintendo Switch at some point in summer. A release date has yet to be confirmed. Both Nintendo and ign will be showcasing the game at various events throughout the year including the Tokyo Game Show and other major events in Europe and North America.
